International School Award Application

Thank you for starting your application form to receive the International School Award, it is great to see you applying for recognition of your school’s commitment to international learning.

The Award is designed to celebrate your school's efforts to include international work as part of your curriculum and helping embed it within your school's culture.

The programme supports and recognises schools in fostering an international ethos throughout the school and embedding it within the curriculum.

Guidance for applicants:

Please take a moment to check the requirements for the level of the award that you intend to apply for. You can find links to all award levels offered on our website.

We strongly advise you to include as much detail as possible in your International School Award application and be as explicit as possible with your activity details so no presumptions can be made by the assessors or ourselves.

Using the application form:

Submittable allows you to save as a draft at any time before fully submitting your application. In order to save the form and complete it later, click on the ‘Save draft’ button at the bottom of the page. 

Your application ID is can be found on your profile after saving the form. Please use this ID in all correspondence with British Council.

Change in applicant details

If you are unable to complete the application form, or need to change ownership of a submission to a colleague, then please reach out to the Submittable support team who will assist you directly via the link below:

If the initial point of contact is not available to make this request, Submittable support team can move a submission from one account to another existing account but they will request the following details:

Climate Futures South Asia is a programme by the British Council to support climate action in the creative industries. The new programme is supporting the arts sector through grants, mentorship, research, and knowledge exchanges between the UK and South Asia.

The grant aims to empower the arts community to contribute to climate action and sustainability through innovative and impactful projects. 

The Climate Futures: South Asia applications are open until 25 November 2024, 23:59 GMT 

The eligible countries in South Asia for this round are: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
