Connections Through Culture is a grant scheme by the British Council to support artistic collaboration and exchange between creative professionals and arts organisations in East Asia and all four nations of the UK. 

It aims to support new connections, exchanges, and collaborations between the UK and East Asia that build long-term relationships among artists, creative practitioners, and art and cultural organisations, hubs, networks, and collectives through collaborative digital, face to face, and/or hybrid artistic projects. 

We are delighted to announce that the UK-East Asia Connections Through Culture 2023 grant applications are open from 11 September to 23 October 2023 and we look forward to receiving your proposals.  The eligible countries in East Asia for this round are Australia, the mainland of China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Philippines, and Thailand. 

Application closes on 23 October 2023, 23:59 GMT.
